Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
At GSSI ("we", "our", or "the company"), we take your privacy very seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our "Calendar" application for Apple devices.
2. Data we do NOT collect
Our "Calendar" application is designed with a Privacy-First approach. This means that:
- We do not collect or store your events, appointments, or calendars on our own servers.
- We do not have access to the information you type into your events (title, location, notes, etc.).
- We do not sell or share your usage data with third parties.
- We do not require you to create an account with us to use the application.
3. How the application works (EventKit)
The "Calendar" application acts as an advanced viewer and manager of your device's native calendar database, using the EventKit technology provided by Apple. This means that:
- All your events are synchronized directly between your device and the calendar providers you have configured (such as iCloud, Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, etc.).
- We (GSSI) are completely blind to this data.
- The application requests explicit permission to access your Calendar. This permission is strictly local to your device and can be revoked at any time from your operating system's "Settings".
4. Storage of Preferences
All the customization you perform within the application (such as tab order, years to sync, hidden calendars, or custom colors) is stored securely and locally on your device via UserDefaults. None of these preferences are transmitted to our servers.
5. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
